Tea and Cookies, Anyone?

I love Felt! No raveling, not bias-such a friendly fabric!!! I know I have been MIA on this here craft blog, but that isn't because I haven't been crafting. On the contrary I have been crafting away and just haven't had time to post. Life has been crazy, busy, if you read our family blog you know why! But these latest felt foods were just too cute to not post. Also I have 4 kiddos between the ages of 18 months and 7 all asleep-shh I can hardly believe it!
I also have before and after hutch pictures to post-but not right now-I need to get crafting!!!! 3.5 days and counting! Head over to Kimbas and post your own DIY!

Thanks, Martha

Sorry I have been MIA this week-there has been a lot going on and little time to blog. I am happy to report that thanks to Martha I have this years Christmas ornaments done. I typically don't like her crafts-it's my personal belief that she throws a twist in there so you can't get them to look like hers! But now that she doesn't actually write or design most her craft they are definitely more "doable." In the latest issue there were these sweet little holly leaf pins, but since I don't have a girl I just kind of oohed and awed. However I kept going back to them. So I decided to make one for a pillow and then really liked them so I am making them into this year's ornaments. You can down load the pattern at her website.

Yummy

So this year in the boy's stockings I am giving the boys "cooking" stuff. I found some great deals in the dollar bins at Target for frying pans, plates and utesils. I have loved "felt food" and been wanting to make some for a while now however I just have to say it is harder than it looks-or maybe I am just too impatient! I also refuse to use patterns which means sometimes I take the hard route! I did finally finish "breakfast" and "lunch."

A little paper crafting

So I decided last min. to make some of these pen and pad sets for the craft sale-I am glad I did because I sold 5 of them. They were so easy and so cheap. I love scrap booking and paper crafts, but really I hardly seem to get the time!
For those that asked I got the little notebooks at Fred Meyer-Mead I think for 79 cents. They also had Amy Butler paper ( i am totally addicted to her stuff) and embellishments on clearance, so I used those cut the paper to 3X5 glued it on the top and added the embellishments-easy peasy! The pens took a little more work to roll the coordinating paper in the clear part, but really not all that hard.

I heart Eddie Ross

I loved Eddie Ross on design star and I love his blog. He always has fun ideas and beautiful decor tips. Here is an idea of his I finally finished this past week. I used plastic christmas balls from the dollar store. I still have to finish the bows, but I haven't been able to find the exact ribbon I want-thankfully I have a little time since I refuse to decorate until after Thanksgiving!

Santa's Workshop

So I have been busy prepping for the next craft bazaar. I made these cool book paper wreaths and some more coffee cozies. I also made more tea towels but forgot to take a picture.
